Menissez: Ours is a story of a family company that, in the course of 55 years, has gone from an artisan bakery to a company that exports its bread all over the world.
We specialize in manufacturing par baked bread. The par baked bread is packaged in a protective atmosphere (M.A.P.). For the overseas export, we use the "slacking method" that allows us to sell our M.A.P. products with the freezing process. Products have a frozen shelf-life of 6 months after production and a maximum of 30 days shelf-life once defrosted at the store or at the DC. The product is then sold at ambient temperature. Customers just have to bake the bread for 10 minutes in a household oven and enjoy the delicious original taste of authentic French bread.
M.A.P. is the best way to preserve the product’s quality: freshness, texture, and taste stay the same. This is also the response to the increased demand for safe, convenient, and high quality products that minimize the risk of cross contamination.
Today, our site based in the North of France produces no less than 200,000 tons of bread per year and 70% of our volume is exported.
We produce private label packaged bread for large retailers. Our expertise, developed over the course of decades, exceeds the expectations of consumers worldwide.
We carefuly select the highest quality ingredients as it is our philosphy to provide the end consumer with an excellent product. Our products are BRC and IFS certified, GMO-free, contain no artificial colors, no added sugars, and no trans fat.

From the Black Forest to the world
The family owned business from Offenburg in South of Germany, next to the Black Forest has been an active and successful company in the health food sector for 50 years. The company´s founder Dr. med. Johann Georg Schnitzer, at that time dentist, developed a programme for wholesome food based on cereals and raw food that provide the human organism with vital nutrients from natural sources. From this period the Schnitzer´s Household Grain Mills were occured and still exist today in many households to grind fresh wholemeal flour.
Whole-food nutrition made easy
At the beginning of the 1980s independent artisan bakeries were trained by Schnitzer in wholefood baking skills and whole-food nutrition were made available for the humanity. In the 1990s, a range of packaged wholesome baked goods was created by the newly established Schnitzer Food division.
Competence and innovation combined with pleasure
Since 2001 Schnitzer produces gluten-free organic baked goods under the highest standards with regard to the purity of the raw materials and the hygiene in the manufacturing process. In 2006 the company introduced the first gluten-free beer based on millet to the market. After a comprehensive investment in modern production facilities combined with the first IFS Food certification in 2016, Schnitzer is now one of the largest manufacturers of organic gluten-free baked goods. In 2019 Schnitzer will present its products in a new packaging, which is influenced by the modern blogger-style.

Our company was established in 1989 as a family business. Nowadays, as a joint-stock company with 100% Polish capital, we are definitely a leader on the market of healthy food, producing crisp bread, rice cakes, rice and grits (source: AC Nielsen). Almost every second pack of rice bought in Poland comes from our company. SONKO brand under which we have been selling our products for years, enjoys a lot of trust among consumers, which was confirmed by choosing our company as the most often recommended food brand and one of the 18 most powerful Polish brands in 2006 (source: The Ranking of the Most Valuable Polish Brands published in as an addition to “Rzeczpospolita” on 28th Nov. 2006). In 1997 we opened a modern rice and grits packaging plant near Wrocław, and in Bielany Wrocławskie in 2008 we opened another production plant of almost 20.000 square meters, which is now the largest and the most modern plant in Europe, producing rice cakes and light crisp bread. All our products are produced in accordance with the requirements of international standards confirmed by ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, IFS and BRC certificates. Our systematic quality control together with the choice of the best components was appreciated by consumers by awarding our products with numerous prizes and awards. Our current offer includes a wide range of rice, grits, rice cakes, rice cakes in chocolate coating, light crisp bread, matzo, rice snacks and rusks. The products are distributed in all leading supermarket chains in Poland, as well as exported.

The history of Semenzato begins in 1890 in Zelarino, on the outskirts of Venice, where Angelo started to make bread using a wood-fired oven. In 2002, the artisanal family business became an automated bread manufacturing company. RO.MAR. s.r.l. was established by Silvestro, the father, and by his sons and daughter Roberto, Marco and Vania Semenzato. All the activities involved in the production of tramezzini bread and sliced bread are performed in our 10000 m2 facility in Olmo Martellago (VE), which boasts one of the first natural leavening system in Italy.
The company joined a private equity fund to increase productivity and boost economic growth.
This made our production facility grow and a new production plant for tramezzini bread was added.

Vanajan Keksit Oy (ltd) was established in the former premises of the well-known biscuit factory Kantolan Keksi. The company Vanajan Korppu Oy is owned to 100 % by the operative management. We have over five decades of experience of baking, innovating and developing Rusks (Crisp rolls), Wafers and Biscuits. According to our business idea Vanajan Keksit Oy has the main focus on Private Label production. The annual turnover of the company is approximately 6 million € and it is increasing rapidly. Our activities are based on the FSSC Food safety standard. Our certified FSSC 22000 Food Safety system (approved by GFSI) fulfills requirements of standars ISO 22000 and ISO 22002-1, which means that our food safety system practically monitors and administers the same parameters as IFS.

Artos & Zymi Alibinisis is a family business that produces bread and dough recipes, representing Evia’s island food tradition.
It all started back in 1954, when Dimitris Alibinisis founded the first family bakery at the region of Chalkida. Few years earlier, during the Second World War, he was sent to Germany as a worker where he mastered the art of baking.
The next generations, having grown up among sacks of flour and the smell of freshly baked bread, will dynamically take over the development of the business, respecting the values on which it was founded.
Today, his grandchildrens Anestis and Dimitra Alibinisi managed to turn this legacy into a modern industrial unit with privately owned production facilities, warehouses and a big fleet of vehicles, distributing all over Greece and abroad a wide range of products made with love, respect and dedication.

“Danvita” is a bakery in Zarasai, in the eastern part of Lithuania. It was founded in 1994 and at that time it was one of the first privately owned bakeries in Lithuania. We started by baking fresh bread, then in 2001 we introduced product lines of bagels, crisps and rusks. In 2005 we started baking crisp bread. in 2013 biscuits production line was introduced. Currently our main product lines comprise bagels, rusks, crisp bread and biscuits that are sold under our own RIDUTO and DANVITA label. Additionally we bake for private labels. Our production is sold in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, Japan, USA, Saudo Arabia. We export approximately 86% of our production.

Our facility and management system are certified following an annual third-party facility audit conducted by an approved ISO 17021 accredited certification body.
Our products also answer to the requirements of BRC Grade A standard and the IFS Food Version, 6 standard, as certified by Certiquality. Pasta also has the Kosher certificate with standard Star-K Kosher Certification and some products are certified as ORGANIC.
