"As far back as 1780 my Family was involved in growing and preparing food in Umbria. We began our work in the historic town of Spoleto before my great grandfather moved us to Giano dell’Umbria in 1920. Each generation of my family has passed down to the next their expertise in selecting and blending oils. We are proud of every single bottle which leaves our factory, and we do not produce any oil which we would not be happy to use in our own kitchen. Our hard work and dedication to quality has seen our family business growing considerably. We are now the biggest producer of olive oil in Umbria and the fourth biggest in all Italy."
A dream is like a house: for it to be strong and robust it has to have solid foundations. For us, it all started in 1780, when a small mill, at the first turning of its millstone, began to produce oil and flour. This is where the dream took shape. Exploiting all the staples of Umbrian agriculture, such as cereals, olives and wine, we gradually created products that are famous for their quality and unfailing respect for the environment. When our grandfather moved to Giano dell’Umbria, he opened a new chapter and laid the foundations for the long-term development of our food & farming business.
All this passion has been handed down the generations and is now embodied in Pompeo and Roberto, at the head of table, inspired by the work of their respective fathers Lanfranco and Domenico. Around them, the younger members, Pompeo’s sons Giampaolo, Marco and daughter Cecilia.

We have never stopped exploring the land to discover the myriad riches it offers us. This, and the fact that so many other farms and food businesses share the same dream, is why the family has enjoyed such growth.
We all work together on more and more land: from Umbria we expanded into other parts of Italy, and we’re now all over the world. But our imprint is always the same. Our work has borne fruit: our sales now top 120 million euros. In recent years we’ve realized other dreams: the construction of the new malting and brewery, the upgrading of the mill, new cellars and new vineyards.

The Brasserie de Saint Omer was founded in 1866. In 1950, following a series of acquisitions, mergers, it became known as Brasserie Artois commercial and 45,000 hectoliters of beer. The business sector was only until 1985 Regional ... Date when it was bought by GROUPE SAINT Arnould, and on this occasion was renamed Brasserie de Saint Omer. The next two years: come join the fold of the Brasserie de Saint Omer Facon brewery in Bridge and Brick Brewing Sower in Lille. These three Brewers have finally met in 1995 and took the name of GSA BREWERIES. With its success and international recognition, the development is dazzling as production reached 1.4 million hectoliters through the marketing of Beer brands to distributors.

Coeur de Pom is a brand belonging to the Jardins de l'Orbrie company. The fruit is delivered and pressed, and the juice is bottled, at our press-house in Bressuire, in the heart of an area of France famous for growing eating apples. This allows us to source 80% of our fruit from less than 100km away, and this direct relationship with farmers ensures we all work together to promote our local produce and savoir-faire.
We respect the balance of flavours in the different varieties to faithfully and authentically reproduce the flavour of the fruit itself.
We combine different varieties of apples and other fruit in our quest to maintain the true balance and precision of flavours.
Our products have no colouring, no added sugar and no preservatives.

Our wines try to show the essence of the wines of La Mancha. The Katsaros Family became the first family in 1856 to request and secure from the newly established independent Greek state the authorization to produce and sell the new product under the name ”DISTILLATION OS USO TIRNABOY”, a name perceived in commerce but especially to Marseilles, France, as the finest quality extract especially that which was produced by the Katsaros Family based in the city of Tirnavos.
KATSAROS DISTILLERY is now located in a privately owned area of 6000 sq. m. where technology coexists in harmony with the history and tradition. Our ancestor Nikolaos Katsaros having gained a copper still from relatives began to unlock the secrets of distillation in an innovative way, resulting in today's "national drink" of our country known to all as Ouzo Tirnavou.
The great dowry of Nikolaos Katsaros passed from generation to generation by working incessantly on the recipe for so many years with love and care in all stages of production, thus celebrating the special place of origin of our fine spirits, Tirnavos Thessaly.
Our location home is anything but random because in no other region of Thessaly, the vines are not cultivated as much as in Tirnavos . In 1856 about 160 years ago, when Tirnavos was considered an industrial center and center of scholar thinking, Nikolaos Katsaros our great-grandfather was the one who invented and created the wonderful spirit Ouzo. (Thessalian Chronicles 1935). Since then with the secrets of four generations we still distill Ouzo using the same original recipe.
Our factory today are equipped with handmade copper stills, Inox tanks of latest technology, a fully automated bottling line, and a production line which is able to produce 2000 bottles per hour, offering high quality spirits that makes us both personal and national proud .
It is worth mentioning that our first exports (around 1930 in the early 20th century) were in Marseille, France, Egypt and in the USA. Today, we distribute in Australia, Canada, USA, England, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Cyprus, Iraq, Japan, Scotland, Congo, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and we have recently reached an agreement to sell our products in China and Russia.
Since 1992, our products can be found in Greek DUTY FREE SHOPS.The market share of our Company in DUTY FREE SHOPS is 13% both for Ouzo & Tsipouro and we are coming third ( in volume) at the Ouzo & Tsipouro ranking.
We are proud that the efforts of our grandparents and our own, gain recognition by winning medals and awards. Noteworthy is the prize won by the brothers of Katsaros family in 1889 during the 4th Olympiad, followed by many others from 1905 until 1932, which we won the Grand Gold Thessaloniki International Fair.
In present times, we participate in many International exhibitions and our fine distillates still gain medals and quality distinctions, such as Concurs Mondial in Brussels, ISW Germany, International Wine & Spirits competition in Hong Kong etc.
Our continuing presence in the last 20 years in Food & Drink Exhibitions, such as in Athens from 1999, in DETROP in Thessaloniki, and in FOODEXPO in Athens have created favorable prospects in the promotion and recognition of our quality distillates.
Our dynamic entries in internationally recognized Exhibitions as FINE FOOD in Australia, SIAL in Paris, ANUGA & PROWEIN in Germany, PROWEIN CHINA and others have strengthened our position in the international market.
Our products today are Ouzo, Tsipouro, Liqueur and alcoholic drink of Brandy type. While finest, noblest, the "crown" of our spirits is the Aged Tsipouro of Katsaros Family.

The family owned business from Offenburg in South of Germany, next to the Black Forest has been an active and successful company in the health food sector for 50 years. The company´s founder Dr. med. Johann Georg Schnitzer, at that time dentist, developed a programme for wholesome food based on cereals and raw food that provide the human organism with vital nutrients from natural sources. From this period the Schnitzer´s Household Grain Mills were occured and still exist today in many households to grind fresh wholemeal flour.
Whole-food nutrition made easy
At the beginning of the 1980s independent artisan bakeries were trained by Schnitzer in wholefood baking skills and whole-food nutrition were made available for the humanity. In the 1990s, a range of packaged wholesome baked goods was created by the newly established Schnitzer Food division.
Competence and innovation combined with pleasure
Since 2001 Schnitzer produces gluten-free organic baked goods under the highest standards with regard to the purity of the raw materials and the hygiene in the manufacturing process. In 2006 the company introduced the first gluten-free beer based on millet to the market. After a comprehensive investment in modern production facilities combined with the first IFS Food certification in 2016, Schnitzer is now one of the largest manufacturers of organic gluten-free baked goods. In 2019 Schnitzer will present its products in a new packaging, which is influenced by the modern blogger-style.

The farm of Montalto exists for over a century. Always owned by the family Gomes Pereira, all the successive generations that took charge of it succeeded in introducing benefits all over the farm, which contributed a lot to increase its value. The farm of Montalto was founded in the second half of the nineteenth century (1880) when Mariano Gomes Pereira Baptista (1858 – 1932) started buying, little by little, small stripes of land in order to enlarge the inheritance from his father Joaquim Gomes (+1889). Mariano Gomes was born in Corredoura - Vila Nova de Ourém and got married in Lisboa, where he owned a small shop. Later on, following an appeal from his heart and taking an opportunity, he left Lisboa behind and returned to his origins in the country, where he settled definitively. At those days the existing house was built according to a very representative Portuguese country style, being surrounded in the northern side by the road connecting Olival with Vila Nova de Ourém. Facing a wide scenery, the inhabited floor was just above the ground floor which was meant to lodge the agricultural implements and the stock raising tools. According to the customs of those days the house was humbly whitewashed but it had a wide dimension quite uncommon in the region. A flight of stairs in the façade allowed the access to a platform in an opened balcony where the main door seemed to invite the visitors inside. On the top of it, a simple enamelled door plate with the inscription “Montalto Vila Gomes” could be observed.

Atlante was founded in 1996 based on the management expertise of F. Nanni and the food expertise of N. Linhart. The objective was to sell quality food products from producers across Europe to Italian retailers.
While initially focused on importing foreign products into the Italian market, Atlante soon expanded into a new business area by working with some of the world’s retail giants to bring the best made in Italy products to the tables of foreign consumers.
